Leonis Minorid meteor shower

The Leonis Minorid meteor shower will be active from 19 October to 27 October, producing its peak rate of meteors around 24 October.

The shower will not be visible before around 02:00 each night, when its radiant point (Leo Minor) rises above your eastern horizon. It will then remain active until dawn breaks.

At its peak, the shower is expected to produce a nominal rate of around 2 meteors per hour.
