Our PAAC member, amateur astronomer and amateur astrophotographer Vinayaka Shenoy of BSc (2017-2020) handled the 4″ Refractor telescope with manual EQ2 mount. He made a solar filter for the scope from solar goggles and other materials, photographer the Sun with a DSLR attached to the scope and meticulously calculated some parameters during the event.
