Sky this Month : March

March 5, 2021

Messier March is here…

Episode Four: The Sky This Month : March

With not many new or prominent constellations visible this month, we discuss a few new constellations and the beauty of March. The month where 14 of the 25 brightest stars are visible in the evenings. We discuss these stars and their lifetime : the stellar evolution along with the origins of the Messier Catalogue.

The audio is designed to guide you through the night sky ideally visible around 8.00pm each night in March. You can use this guide between 7.30pm to 8.30pm this month, however we suggest you do this before the 16th of March to prevent moonlight from obstructing your view.

So get your earphones out, put on the audio here or through the websites and explore the night sky this month.
